Team Alternates Mike Ewoldsen(KS), Eugene Carlson, Wendy Hou-Seye, and Brandson Smith had three 1st Place finishes and one 2nd Place finish.

Team Wisconsin was also 1st Place among Teams.  On individual efforts, the Team set 2 American Records, 34 World Records, and numerous Wisconsin State Records.

The Wisconsinites all travelled by air, except for Mike Ewoldsen and 80 year Peter Jensen.  Pete drove all the way from Sheboygan to Denver, Colorado, and back again.

Wisconsin Powerlifting News Experiences Hiatus
2010 Indiana Regional Meet: 2009 + 1
December Issue: PRO Meet Interview, and More
NEBRASKA: Entries Nearly 2X State Meet Numbers

by Job Hou-Seye
I became keenly aware this past quarter, as many eventually do, that I only have the same 168 hours per week that everybody else does.  Due to my involvement with Team Wisconsin, attending 6 Campaign Fundraisers, marching in nearly a Dozen Parades, and running my own Campaign for the Wisconsin Assembly, I simply did not have time to put together an issue of Wisconsin Powerlifting News, which takes about a day, uninterrupted, to ePublish.
Well, the 2010 Election Cycle is behind us all.  I have also resigned the Vice-Chairmanship of one Committee, and stopped my participation as an At Large Member of another Committee.  This will give me more time for Insurance work, my Family, and the promotion of NASA Drug Free Powerlifting.
Therefore, for the forseeable future, the Wisconsin Powerlifting eZine should now resume, on a monthly basis, after a hiatus from September through October.

The NASA Indiana Regional Meet was held on Saturday, September 25th, in Kokomo Indiana, and the Meet grew from 25 Entries in 2009, to 26 Entries in 2010.
Many thanks to Larry and Hazel Donahue of Ohio, David and Sheri Oyler from Illinois, and Jim Tabbert of Wisconsin, for traveling to and helping with the Event.
At this time we are anticipating the Indiana State Meet being held on March 26th, in West Lafayette, Indiana, and the Indiana Regional Meet being held the last Saturday in October, in Kokomo, Indiana.
When we held the first NASA State Meet in more than 15 years, back in March, we were happy to get 13 Entries from 5 different States.  However, we never expected the number of Entries to almost double, to 22 Entries.
Thanks once again to Fred Kooser for putting us in contact with a Good Venue for an Event, and also to his daughters who did an excellent job as an Announcing Team.  Jeff Blaine and Rich Baker also came over from Iowa, as well as Jim Tabbert from Wisconsin, to help Referee this Event.
At this time, we anticipate having the 2011 Nebraska State Meet in conjunction with the Military, Police & Fire Nationals(NASA-MPF Nationals), on the weekend of March 19th, just a Brett Favre football pass across the river, at the Ameristar Casino & Hotel, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  More information will be made public in the December Issue of Wisconsin Powerlifting News.
In the December Issue, monthly interviews will resume, beginning with an interview of one of the 2010 NASA PRO Lifters.  Details of the 3rd NASA PRO Power Sports Meet will also be covered.
We will also have more details concerning the 2011 NASA Military, Police & Fire Nationals, as well as other Meets that Wisconsin Powerlifting is sponsoring in the coming year.
Results from the recent Wisconsin State Meet will also be covered, along with updates on the Team that Wisconsin is taking to the Natural Nationals in January.
Finally, we will have the State of Wisconsin Powerlifting, covering many different details about the 2011 Powerlifting Year, as well as the Nominees for the 2010 Wisconsin Athlete of the Year Awards.
