BRAD EDER
   2009 Wisconsin Overall
       Athlete of the Year

If Perseverance was Gold, then Brad Eder would be the richest Lifter in NASA.  After scares with both Cancer, and Strokes, Brad continues to train what he loves to do best - THE STRICT CURL.

Since NASA President Rich Peters copyrighted Power Sports in the mid-1990's, Eder has lifted exclusively in NASA.  There was a time in the first half of the last decade, however, when he almost abandoned the Sport.  Brad commented, "I want to credit Job and Wendy with saving NASA in Wisconsin."  The Shawano, Wisconsin resident commented that (the guy from Madison) was destroying his faith in NASA.  Eder feels that the Hou-Seye's turned that around.

Except for a medical problem close to a Meet in mid-2009, Brad has never missed a NASA Meet in Wisconsin in the last 10 years, if he was aware the Meet was being held.  In fact, on October 31st, 2009, he came to the Wisconsin State Meet only a couple of days after his mother died.

For his exceptional dedication to NASA, it is no wonder he was named Wisconsin's 2009 Overall Athlete of the Year.  Recognizing that the distinction is a Lifetime Achievement Award, Brad said, "I realize that I've become like a symbol of our Sport and I want you all to know that I will help out a lot more at future meets and will carry myself with honor and intregrity.  God Bless you all, Brad.
